University of Arkansas Law Seeks Faculty

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock, William H. Bowen School of Law is hiring several faculty members to begin in August 2023 in tax, legal writing, and first-year courses.  Bowen’s mission is guided by three core values – access to justice, public service, and professionalism.  The law school’s rigorous curriculum aims to balance theory, skill development, and experiential learning. Students have numerous opportunities to assist faculty with academic research and public service, such as with the Veterans Legal Services Clinic and the new Bowen Center for Racial Justice and Criminal Justice Reform. This position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy.

Tax: This position is open rank and will be filled at either the Assistant, Associate, or Professor rank, based on qualifications and experience. Lateral applicants are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will be eligible to apply for the law school’s Bryon M. Legal Writing: The law school seeks an entry-level Assistant Professor to teach in our autonomous Research, Writing and Analysis (RWA) program. This is a full-time, tenure-track position.
