The President of Whittier College, Sharon Herzberger, has announced – and I'm not certain when this statement came out – that Whittier Law interim dean Judy Daar has stepped down and left the law school after 27 years of service. Rudy Hasl, who stepped down as dean of Thomas Jefferson Law in 2013, has been named Special Assistant to the President and the Board of Trustees and interim dean of the law school charged with teaching out the school's upper level students. The University administration has decided to close the school and is not admitted a new 1L cohort this fall.
