UNLV Dean John White Kicked Upstairs; Nancy Rapoport Named Interim Dean

Dean John Valery White, of the UNLV School of Law, proved too good at his job.  He has been named the new vice-president and provost of the University.  He joined UNLV in 2007 and is only the second dean in the school's history.  UNLV Law Professor Nancy Rapoport – who previously lead the law schools at both the University of Houston and the University of Nebraska –  will take over as the interim dean effective July 1.
