The ALI elected 19 new members at the end of March. The newly-elected academic members having a primary affiliation with a U.S. law school are:

- David Caron (Berkeley)
- Anne Dailey (Connecticut)
- Michelle Harner (Maryland)
- Rebecca Hollander-Blumoff (Washington U. St. Louis)
- Thomas Wm. Mayo (SMU).
