The Latest on Tree Law

A man who poisoned two trees at Auburn University — then had the terrible  judgment to call into an Alabama sports radio talk show and claim "credit" for this — has been arrested.  Very sad to see two trees, which have been around for something like 130 years and have sentimental value, killed.  This reminds me of a crime in Tuscaloosa a few years back of someone who poisened four oak trees near the Bryant Denny Stadium — perhaps a property owner wanted a better view of the stadium from his condo.
