In addition, the dean will provide leadership and strategic vision, work well in a collaborative decision-making environment with associates and key constituencies, and have demonstrated organizational and management skills to lead path-breaking legal education. The dean will nurture high-quality research, teaching, and diversity as important components of academic excellence. The dean will also have proven fundraising experience or demonstrated potential to attract financial support and other resources.
The dean will possess a J.D. or foreign equivalent and a record of teaching and scholarship that meets the standards for appointment to the law faculty as a full professor with tenure. We will consider candidates with a demonstrated record of exceptional accomplishment outside of academia.
