I’ve uploaded a new and very special episode of the Taboo Trades podcast, featuring Mario Macis and Nicola Lacetera.
Mario Macis is a Professor of Economics at Johns Hopkins Carey Business School. Nico Lacetera is a Professor of Strategic Management at the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto.
They joined me this week to discuss their empirical and experimental work on incentives for blood donation, as well as their recent surveys of public attitudes toward a variety of taboo trades, including payments to living kidney donors. It’s a fun and informative episode (thanks to the guests, not the host :-)
You can listen on Apple and spotify, as well as below.
