I agree that this isn't news, and shouldn't be, given the military service of so many men who loved men for, literally, thousands of years.
Only folks like Bill Clinton would say "don't ask don't tell" and think it to be ever so clever, fair and good public policy. "Hide it," said Bill.
Instead of debating what is now, thankfully, old news, comments should be allowed on the constant barrage of posts on this site about the "rights" of the poor to sell their bodies and body parts, the "rights" of doctors to kill their patients, etc.
This morbid fascination with topics that would give most ethicists pause, to say the least, should be discussed, not stifled. The fear of debate is almost always a tell, is it not?
