A Bob Wills hit from 1945, covered many times, most famously by Willie Nelson.
Mel Tillis charted with it in the 1980s:
Willie, younger days:
Willie and friends:
I'm pretty sure Bob Wills never envisioned an arrangement with a cello:
Not very good artistically, but definitely captures the spirit of the song:
This one too:
"Keep on punching: Why Harris wants to debate and Trump doesn’t"
I really enjoy these violent metaphors--especially since it's the other side of the political aisle that owns most of the firearms in this country, and since they're itching to use them.

Lubet is so ridiculously partisan and won't allow anyone to comment on this. That essay was really inflammatory and riddled with inaccuracies.
1. "former courtroom prosecutor who earned her chops trying violent felonies"
Researchers have struggled to find any trials Harris first chaired.
2. "Harris walked assertively across the stage and held out her hand, surprising Trump at his podium,"
Were the shoe on the other foot, Lubet would accuse T of stalking and trying to intimidate Harris by "invading her space"
3. "Harris may have exaggerated here and there, but she floated no similarly blatant whoppers"
This is such a hopelessly biased statement; it is flatly false. Many "fact checkers" have found multiple falsehoods by Harris, e.g, denverpost[dot]com/2024/09/19/fact-check-kamala-harris-debate-donald-trump/
Lubet has fled the FL for other venues. He remains here only, it seems:
To promote himself by way of announcing his partisan attacks on anyone he perceives as "the other side" and
to relive the music of his youth (half a century or more ago).
One supposes teh question: Can't the FL do better? If not, what is it's purpose at this point?

Oh, he censors/blocks 90% of my comments.
Lubet is not just a thin-skinned fascist. He enjoys abusing power.
