Elon University School of Law seeks applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor for the 2024-25 academic year, with the possibility of continuing for a second year. Our curricular needs include Contracts, Securities Regulation, and potentially other business law courses.
Elon Law is recognized for innovation in legal education through a highly experiential, 2.5-year curriculum that has led to increases in applications, selectivity, metrics, bar pass, post-graduate placement, and diversity. Since adopting the new curriculum, Elon Law has been recognized nationally as a top school for practical learning, reduction of our students’ debt, and improved bar passage. We seek teacher-scholars who will contribute to our mission by blending strong classroom instruction with experiential learning and skills across the curriculum; providing integrated, immersive, and iterative high-impact teaching; and embracing excellence in teaching, mentoring, service, and scholarship.
Required qualifications include a J.D. or equivalent law degree, admission with good standing to law practice, and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
To apply, please send a letter of interest, a current C.V., and, if available, recent teaching evaluations. Please send your application to Carolyn Rotondaro, Executive Assistant to the Dean, at [email protected].
