Wayne State University Law School invites applications for an Assistant Professor (Teaching) to teach jointly in our Legal Research and Writing Program and non-J.D. programs in law. The position entails teaching a combination of first-year Legal Research and Writing at the Law School and courses in non-J.D. programs in law. Applicants must have a J.D. degree and a strong academic record. Ideal candidates should have demonstrated excellence in legal writing; one year of court clerkship, practice experience, and/or experience teaching legal writing; and a passion for teaching future legal advocates.
