The Journal also reports that as FTX’s implosion began, [Prof. Joseph] Bankman contacted David Mills, a Stanford Law colleague who specializes in criminal defense. Within a few days, Mills reportedly contacted Bankman to warn: “Sam needs lawyers, and desperately.”
