Buddy Ebsen became better known as Jed Clampett:
Herbert White's Lindy Hoppers, from the Savoy Ballroom, featuring Norma Miller and members of the Duke Ellington Orchestra. The choreographer David Gould was nominated for an academy award for this scene. Sammy Davis, Jr. and Dorothy Dandridge got started in this troupe, but were not in this film.
Ray Bolger is better known as the Scarecrow.
