Florida State University College of Law is looking to fill multiple full-time, tenured or tenure-track positions to begin in August 2023. Entry-level and lateral candidates with a demonstrated commitment to scholarship, teaching, and service are encouraged to apply.
We are open to candidates in all academic areas, although environmental law, constitutional law and business law are a plus. We also strongly encourage candidates with diverse backgrounds and viewpoints to apply. We will be reviewing the FAR, but individual expressions of interest are welcome (from entry-levels or laterals).
We are also looking to fill two Chairs. One opening is the Tobias Simon Chair in Public Law. Candidates must have a distinguished publication record in a public law field, including, but not limited to, civil rights and civil liberties, international law, and public policy. The other opening is the D’Alemberte Chair. Candidates for this position must have a distinguished record in constitutional law with a focus on the first amendment.
Applications or questions may be sent to Professor Jeffrey Kahn, Appointments Committee Chair, at [email protected].
