Seattle University School of Law invites applications and nominations for visiting faculty for the 2022-23 academic year. The School of Law seeks up to three visiting professors; both one semester and full academic year visits are possibilities.
We particularly welcome candidates with the experience/expertise to teach Civil Procedure, Constitutional Law, Income Tax, Secured Transactions, UCC Sales, and/or Remedies. Depending on the length of the visit and our evolving needs, visitors may also have the opportunity to teach other upper-level courses. In addition, we are seeking one Spring Semester visitor with the experience/expertise to teach in and help manage our thriving Externship Program. We expect the successful candidates for these positions to be teaching in person in Seattle but prefer candidates who are also comfortable with remote instruction in the event that the evolving public health situation requires a temporary shift in modality. We encourage applications from candidates who will contribute to the diversity of our faculty and who are interested in contributing to our collective scholarly conversation.
