Smokey Robinson wrote "Get Ready" for the Temptations in 1966, making it the last song he wrote for them at Motown Records. It was re-released by Rare Earth, also on Motown, in 1970, charting both times.
Lyrics about getting ready show up in other songs, often with a religious theme, as in the Impressions' 1965 hit, written by Curtis Mayfield:
Pacific Gas & Electric (later, PG&E) had their one hit in 1970 with "Are You Ready." The band isn't very well known today, but I am including this (1) because it fits the theme, and (2) I saws them open for Led Zeppelin at Chicago's Kinetic Playground in 1969:
Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels released "Devil with a Blue Dress" in 1966, in a medley with Little Richard's "Good Golly Miss Molly." It doesn't have anything to do with getting ready (or religion), but it is the only other song I know with "fee, fi, fo, fum" in the lyrics.
UPDATE: Another fee, fi, fo, fum (h/t Alex Lubet):
