Isn't it frustrating when the patient's perfectly reasonable questions/observations are met by the obstinate physician's determination to accuse the patient of believing "fake news" ("you have been paying attention to vocal patient activist groups. They have unfortunately spread all sorts of invented ideas about the aftermath of COVID-19.")?

The physician is ignorant but opinionated. The physician is not well informed and does not reason well.

Yet, the physician takes a superior attitude to the patient, even accusing the patient of mental illness!

What an excellent opportunity to examine one's own attitudes thru the lens of experience that affects ME rather than THEE.
