The North Carolina Central University School of Law (“NCCU Law”) is seeking candidates for a visitor for the 2022 calendar year to teach Corporations, Business Associations, and Agency and Partnerships. Founded in 1939 to provide opportunities for African American students to become lawyers, our mission is to provide an excellent legal education to historically underrepresented students from diverse backgrounds. NCCU Law is located in Durham, North Carolina, a city that is a part of the Research Triangle Region, known for its technology companies and scholarly institutions.
Interested applicants should apply by submitting a curriculum vitae, cover letter, and list of three references to Angela Gilmore, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, at angela.gilmore@nccu.edu. Applicants with a juris doctor from an ABA-accredited law school, a distinguished professional background, and a strong commitment to teaching will be considered. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, color, disability, gender, gender expression, gender identity, genetic information, national origin, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, or status as a protected veteran.
NCCU Law anticipates being face-to-face during the 2022 calendar year. Thus, an in-person visit is preferred. However, applicants who can only teach virtually will also be considered.
