From an email message that I received yesterday:
Southwestern Law School invites applications for one or more visiting professor positions for the 2021-2022 academic year. We have particular interest in applicants who teach Constitutional Law, Property, Evidence, Wills & Trusts, or California Community Property.
Qualified applicants should be experienced law school professors with a record of strong teaching in law school classes. Applicants must have excellent academic credentials and must hold a J.D. from an A.B.A.-accredited law school or the equivalent.
Founded in 1911, Southwestern is an A.B.A.-accredited, independent law school located in the center of Los Angeles in the historic Bullocks Wilshire building. For more than 100 years, the school’s mission has been to provide students from diverse backgrounds with a first-rate legal education that prepares them to serve the community with the highest level of professionalism. Situated at the heart of the entertainment industry, Southwestern is also home to the nationally acclaimed Donald E. Biederman Entertainment and Media Law Institute.
Southwestern is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer. All applicants will receive consideration for employment free from discrimination on the basis of race, color, age, religion, national origin, ancestry, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, disability, medical condition, pregnancy, marital status, veteran/military status, or any other characteristic protected by state or federal law.
To apply, please send a cover letter indicating teaching interests, a CV, and three professional references to Vice Dean Dov Waisman at [email protected]. For full consideration, applications should be received by March 1, 2021. Application review will begin immediately and will continue until the positions are filled.
