Northwestern University announced that Kim Yuracko will be leaving the deanship at Northwestern 's law school at the end of this month to become the university's associate provost for academic projects. An interim dean and a search committee will be announced shortly.
I believe moving to the provost's office to oversee "academic projects" is code for being fired, at least if it happens less than two years into your deanship. I am sure there is a story behind that.
