Given the necessary (but unfortunate and sad) cancellation of the conferences where we’d usually get the chance to catch up this summer, Dan McConkie (also NIU) and I have decided to start an online workshop series this summer for our fellow crim profs. We envision it consisting of a panel each week that would run for 75 - 90 minutes, three to four papers each, with time for feedback from assigned commentators and the audience, of course. Let me know at [email protected] if you'd like to join us. If you’d just like to “attend” to offer feedback, that’s great, too! When responding, please indicate if you’d like to present a paper, if you’d be willing to moderate or serve as a commentator, or if you’d just be excited to see this going so you can give feedback. I'll keep you in the loop.
We don’t know yet which day we’ll be choosing for these weekly workshops but I’ll be sending out a poll of some sort to try to get that nailed down. Getting a sense of who’s interested first would be a really helpful starting point, however, so let me know.
