The American Folk Blues Festival toured Europe annually for a few years beginning in 1962. Thus, some of the best videos of American blues artists, and Chicago musicians in particular, were made in Europe.

A silky sounding Muddy Waters - looking so young. I saw him for the first time ten years later on the south side...what an evening that was. Those oh so polite Europeans - why aren't they up and dancing??
