Formed in 1966, Cream was the first rock "Supergroup," with Eric Clapton on guitar, Jack Bruce on bass, and Ginger Baker on drums. The band was known for extended jams, including Baker's twelve minute drum solo Toad. This is one of the shortest live clips of Cream I could find:
After Cream disbanded in 1968, Baker played with several rock bands, including Ginger Baker's Air Force, before moving to Nigeria, where he opened a recording studio and worked frequently with Fela Kuti.
