ST. MARY’S UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF LAW invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty member to begin in August of 2019. Experienced teachers are especially encouraged to apply and will be considered for appointment at an appropriate rank. Subject matter needs include criminal law and criminal procedure. Applicants should have excellent academic credentials, strong teaching evaluations, and a healthy publication record that demonstrates a dedication to scholarly research and writing in the field. Practice experience in criminal law is also beneficial. Knowledge of or experience with Texas criminal law will be considered in the evaluation of candidates. The successful applicant should demonstrate a commitment to the mission of St. Mary’s University and the mission of the law school and to manifesting that mission in teaching, research and service.
If the search does not yield a tenure track hire, applicants for a one-year, non-tenure-track, visitorship will be considered.
