I had occasion to look this up for another purpose, and I thought I'd share it. Truer words, and all that:
Scene: The Rose Theatre, London 1593
Fennyman (the financier): Is it going well?
Henslowe (the theater owner): Very well.
Fennyman: But nothing is happening.
Henslowe: Yes, but very well.
Shakespeare (enters shouting): Gentlemen!
Fennyman: Who is that?
Henslowe: Nobody. The author.
I use the first scene (Fennyman and thugs torturing Henslowe) as an introduction to the difference between being a creditor (owning debt) and being a partner (owing equity)

"owning equity"

I am delighted that you smart people "get" this post. Perhaps I am distracted due to the impending Sears shut down. I was initially concerned and then relieved that Sears was "saved" because I wouldn't have the faintest idea where to purchase vacuum cleaner bags for our Kenmore.

I am so glad that Hedley Lamar, Kavanaugh Law Office, et al posted something unfunny to end 2018. Here's hoping he doesn't stop in 2019.
Happy New Year!
