Commander Cody (not the same band that played San Pablo Avenue in the early 70s, but featuring Nicolette Larson):
Asleep at the Wheel (Ray Benson also played in Berkeley in the early 70s, though with a different lineup):
Ondrej Havelka of Prague:
Of course, The Andrews Sisters (audio only):
Maurice Rocco:
Ella Fitzgerald (audio only):
I have fond memories of seeing Commander Cody and His Lost Planet Airmen (the earlier incarnation) playing at the Palomino Club in North Hollywood (the memories are a tad foggy however, owing to the alcohol consumed with my co-workers from Busch Gardens* in Van Nuys with whom I often went to the Palomino).
*No longer exists (1966-1979), as they paved over our little piece of paradise (your could walk through the park and stop at several locations and pick up cups of free beer!) in the San Fernando Valley to expand brewery production.

Thanks for this one, Steve. I only knew of the Andrews Sisters version of it (and, indeed, have a record of it). So this was quite educational for me!
