I am very grateful to Al Brophy for the invitation to enter The Faculty Lounge for a spell. It is an honor to participate in a conversation that I have followed for years as a reader. During my stay, I plan to write about my areas of scholarly focus, which are election law, national security law, and legal history. I will also write a bit about two of my principal teaching areas, civil procedure and evidence. There is certainly no shortage of interesting legal topics to write about during this tumultuous and fascinating period in our nation’s history. Thank you for spending time in The Faculty Lounge with me.
