As is apparent from the comments on Stagger Lee, most readers enjoy the music posts although some do not. That is why I post them on weekends (including holiday weekends), when there are few other posts and traffic is light. Some of the music posts have vague connections to law. Stagolee, for example, is the story of "Stag" Lee Sheldon, who was tried and convicted of murder in 1897. Most, however, fall into the "Culture" category, which is one of the listed subjects on The Faculty Lounge banner.
Speaking of the banner, it was created before I joined the blog, so I don't know why it has the particular order of "Law, Culture, and Academia." I do not think there is any particular meaning to the sequence, although one comment suggested that it put "Academia" in last place. Perhaps it is just reverse alphabetical order, or perhaps it reflects the increasing number of syllables.
In any case, I plan to continue posting music on weekends. The scroll bar provides a simple way of avoiding the videos for those who do not care for them.
And because today is Thanksgiving (and because it is about a misdemeanor prosecution):
