THE CONCORDIA UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF LAW anticipates making at least one tenure-track faculty appointment in the 2017-2018 academic year. We seek applications from entry-level candidates with excellent academic records and demonstrated potential for outstanding teaching and scholarly achievement. The Faculty Appointments Committee also welcomes applications from outstanding junior lateral candidates. Practice experience is preferred, and teaching experience is desirable.
As a Lutheran institution of higher education, we seek candidates who will support our mission and promote Lutheran values. We are primarily interested in the following academic subject areas: criminal law and procedure, evidence, and civil procedure, but will consider additional subject matter areas. Candidates should hold a J.D. degree from an ABA accredited law school.
