Thomas Jefferson University School of Law has announced that Professor Joan Bullock of Florida A&M Law will be its new Dean. Bullock is an inaugural member of the FAMU Law faculty, and has served there as both Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and Associate Dean of Teaching and Faculty Development. She holds a JD from the University of Toledo.
she will have her hands full with that place - best of luck

Why would anyone want the job? I guess, given her credentials, becoming a law school dean is impressive (U of Toledo grad). But still. Very experienced deans like Hasl and Guernsey did not try the place around. Doubt she can.

Being a Dean is a great gig. Beats competing with those Chicagoland Billboard Attorneys advertising $49.00 Traffic Ticket Defense. There are 100s of applicants for every legal job too. If I had a Dean gig, I would put Mrs. Carswell into that 2011 Camry she has her eye on. No more moth ball LeSabre for her. Only the best.
