The University of Dayton School of Law invites applications for two tenure-track Assistant Professor positions to begin during the 2017-2018 academic year. Our curricular needs are diverse, so we will consider outstanding candidates in any field. Applicants must have a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school. Preferred qualifications include: an outstanding academic record; a history of scholarship and publication; prior successful experience in law teaching or the demonstrated potential to be an outstanding teacher; a perceived potential to successfully mentor underrepresented minority students; demonstrated and successful experience working with people from diverse backgrounds; prior experience in law practice; excellent communication skills; effective interpersonal skills with various constituencies; and an expressed willingness to engage with Catholic and Marianist educational values.
