Patent Position
The University of Akron School of Law anticipates hiring a tenure-track or tenured faculty member with a particular focus in the area of patent law to begin teaching in Fall 2016. Experience in the areas of International IP, Health, Trademark, and Privacy Law are also of particular interest. The committee is interested in candidates with scholarly distinction or great promise as demonstrated by strong early scholarship and a thoughtful agenda for future work, as well as a commitment to excellence in teaching.
Akron Law's Center for IP Law and Technology is renowned for its extensive curriculum, an LL.M. in Intellectual Property, joint degree program, rich scholarly and practical programming, and strong relationship with the national and international IP community.
The University of Akron School of Law is a public, mid-size law school of approximately 450 students located in the Akron/Cleveland metropolitan area.
