The University of San Francisco School of Law is seeking paper submissions for a conference titled, “Housing for Vulnerable Populations and the Middle Class: Revisiting Housing Rights and Policies in a Time of Expanding Crisis.” Conference papers will also be considered for publication in a symposium issue of the USF Law Review. The conference will be held on January 29, 2016, at USF School of Law in San Francisco, California.
The conference seeks to explore the nature and scope of the housing problem for traditionally vulnerable populations and the middle class, limitations of existing laws and their application, and proposals for new legal regulation or public policy change.
The deadline for submitting an abstract for consideration to participate on a conference panel or to publish a paper in the symposium issue is Monday, October 19, 2015. The abstract should be no more than 1000 words and should describe the paper’s proposed topic, theme, and research methodology.
Abstract submissions and any questions about the symposium should be directed to Tanya Rivera (the Symposium editor) at [email protected], and to Professor Tim Iglesias (Symposium faculty advisor) at [email protected].
A 1000 word "abstract"? Really?
