Lincoln Memorial University invites applications for the full time position of Instructional Faculty, Law for the Duncan School of Law, located in Knoxville, Tennessee, for the 2016-2017 academic year. This position requires a strong academic background, practice experience and either the record or promise of both teaching excellence and high scholarly achievement. Qualifications and desire to teach U.C.C.-related courses (including Contracts, Sales, Commercial Paper and Secured Transactions) and Bankruptcy are highly desired. Applicants should have a commitment to innovative teaching methods and incorporating technology and practical skills into their doctrinal courses. The Lincoln Memorial University (LMU), Duncan School of Law is provisionally approved by the American Bar Association and shares the LMU mission, which is to provide educational opportunities to the underserved people of Appalachia. The instructional faculty member shall have the primary responsibilities of teaching, research/creative achievement and service functions and shall be held accountable for these obligations as they contribute to the attainment of the mission of the University, the School and the Department.
