We're very excited to announce that Steven Lubet will be joining the Faculty Lounge as a permanent blogger. We've enjoyed his engaging, thoughtful and sometimes controversial posts as a guest, and we're incredibly pleased that he'll be staying on for the long haul. Steven is the Edna B. and Ednyfed H. Williams Memorial Professor of Law at Northwestern University School of Law. He is also the Director of the Fred Bartlit Center for Trial Advocacy. Steven holds JD from the artist formerly known as Boalt Hall, the UC Berkeley School of Law. He is a prolific author and his books include The Colored Hero of Harper's Ferry (Cambridge, forthcoming 2015), John Brown's Spy (Yale, 2012), Fugitive Justice (Harvard, 2010) and The Importance of Being Honest (NYU, 2008). There's a lot more to look at; check out his full ouevre here.
If you've been under a rock recently, take a look at his hot new review of Alice Goffman's On the Run here or his first post of his series on L'Affaire Steven Salaida here.
Welcome Steven!
