It's my pleasure to share the news that Professor Ann Bartow has agreed to join UNH Law as Professor and Director of the Franklin Pierce Center for Intellectual Property. The official announcement is here. Ann is a player in several different fields and we are happy to add to our strength in IP. She brings exciting new possibilities to our school. The addition of Professor Bartow continues our commitment to deepening and strengthening our faculty and student body.
Awesome hire! Congratulations to UNH and to Ann.

Congratulations to Ann and UNH. This is really exciting. And Ann, there must be a lot of monuments to study in the Granite State.

If Ann keeps moving north she's going to end up in Canada next.

Awesome hire indeed! (Hey, I can be sad for me and happy for Ann at the same time, right?) (And btw, Al, there are tons of monuments in the NYC area, too!)

I'd love to blog about NYC monuments -- but I don't have occasion to visit NYC much, so I don't have any photos in my stock. I mentioned the Central Park Spanish American War monument a while back: http://www.thefacultylounge.org/2014/09/uss-maine-memorial.html
And also, years ago, the Francis Lieber statue over in Riverside Park: http://www.thefacultylounge.org/2010/01/george-fletchers-the-bond.html
We'd love to have you hang out with us and talk about monuments and legal education, too, David.
