NYU has named Columbia law professor Trevor Morrison as its new law dean. Morrison's areas of expertise include constitutional law, federal courts, separation of powers, and executive branch legal interpretation. He clerked for Justice Ginsburg, was an associate at Wilmer, Cutler & Pickering, has served in the Justice Department and the White House, and taught at Cornell. He will take the helm on June 1.
