From our friends in Tucson comes this announcement:
The University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law welcomes applications for the position of Visiting Assistant Professor (VAP) beginning July 1, 2013. VAPs will enjoy a two-year appointment to the faculty of the College of Law. They will teach one course per semester, with institutional and financial support for scholarly research and writing. VAPs will benefit from training and mentoring by faculty members as they develop their courses and begin classroom teaching. Areas of particular interest include the following: Intellectual Property, Criminal Law, Health Law, Criminal Procedure, Torts, and Complex Litigation. The College expects that VAPs will write and publish, in a scholarly journal, an article of original research and analysis during their first year. It is expected that VAPs will seek a tenure-track position at a law school, with the full support of the College, in the fall of their second year.
