Professor Curtis Bridgeman, who is the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and James and Margaret Hennessy Corry Professor of Law at Florida State University, has been named the new dean of Willamette University College of Law. He succeeds Peter Letsou and will take his position on July 1, 2013. Bridgeman, who holds his JD and Phd (Philosophy) from Vanderbilt and clerked for Gilbert Merritt of the Sixth Circuit, is a leading scholar in commercial and contract law. He joined the FSU faculty in 2004.
