Professor James Gardner, from SUNY Buffalo Law School, will be joining us for a while as a guest in the Lounge. Jim is the outgoing vice dean for academic affairs, but he stayed very busy with What Are Campaigns For? The Role of Persuasion in Electoral Law and Politics (Oxford 2009) and an edited volume, New Frontiers of State Constitutional Law: Dual Enforcement of Norms (Oxford 2010 with Jim Rossi). He has a JD from Yale and joined SUNY Buffalo in 2001. He'll be visiting at McGill in the fall and Florida State in the spring - but right now we're very pleased that he'll be visiting with us for a month or so!
