Predicting the outcome of Supreme Court cases is a hazardous enterprise. As Jesse Choper quipped, "He who lives by the crystal ball must be prepared to eat ground glass." But I get a rare chance to avoid the ground glass. Back in December I posted that the US Supreme Court would summarily reverse the Montana Supreme Court's ruling that Montana had such a history of corruption that Citizens United ought not apply to state campaign finance limits. It did, 5-4. You may guess at the voting lineup. Here's the Supreme Court's opinion.
