It's my pleasure to welcome Brando Simeo Starkey to the faculty lounge to sit with us for a spell. Brando is a visiting assistant professor at Villanova. He was previously a fellow at the Equal Justice Society and is a 2008 graduate of Harvard Law School. He writes in the areas of constitutional law, race, and legal history, among others. He is finishing a book manuscript on Uncle Tom & Social Norms: Improving Legal Interests and Affecting Public Policy; the prospectus for it is available here. SSRN has some of his recent papers.
Close readers of the faculty lounge may recall he is a frequent winner of the civil rights trivia contests.
Welcome, Brando.
