Well, given that everyone seems to be talking about Senator Edwards' trial in Greensboro these days, I thought I'd dig deep in my collection of photographs and post one of the Greensboro Federal Courthouse. I took this last December when I was out visiting Eric Fink at Elon Law School. Very art deco! I must admit it looks like a federal courthouse.
My wife refers to this style of architecture as late Bolshevik. It permeates DC 1930s era buildings. In front of the FTC Building there are two statutes of men restraining wild horses. Must have brought shivers to the spines of businessmen when they saw it, just as this building would to anybody being tried there.
