It's hard to believe that it's already November and, as such, people may be looking for Thanksgiving reading - a little non-law reading material to curl up with by the fire after the Turkey fest perhaps?
For some strange reason, lately I've been coming across some interesting 'adult' takes on familiar fairy tales so if anyone is interested, I can recommend Kissing the Witch by Emma Donoghue which is a feminist take on a number of these tales. A little more gruesome, but beautifully and cleverly written and using plenty of longer poetic words for those who have been concerned that I might only like monosyllables after my recent posts, consider The Bloody Chamber by Angela Carter.
Other recommendations for holiday season reading welcome ...
