In the true spirit of escapism from all that is seriously work related, law profs who are aspiring novelists and who are looking for something to do with all their *free time* in November, might consider signing up for National Novel Writing Month. Link here. This is a site for all aspiring authors who feel they have a novel in them and who have never yet made the time to write it to band together in a supportive environment. The goal is to write 50,000 words in the month of November. Apparently Sara Gruen's Water For Elephants (which I have blogged about previously) was a NaNoWriMo project...
