After being a finalist in several dean searches this year (and declining at least one appealing offer) Robert Schapiro has been named the new interim dean at Emory Law School. Schapiro has served as Emory's associate dean of faculty (2006-2008) and associate faculty director for the Halle Institute for Global Learning (2008-2010). He is a graduate of Yale Law School and a former EIC of the YLJ.
