This is bad news for the folks at the University of Wisconsin, but very good news for those of us in Chapel Hill. My colleague Gene Nichol has withdrawn from the Wisconsin Law dean search. That leaves Margaret Raymond, a professor at the University of Iowa, and Nicholas Allard, a partner at Patton Boggs in the pool.

Or is it bad news for Colorado, where Raymond is also a finalist? It has been a long time since Colorado had their finalists visit, and its curious that no one has been named yet.
