Harvard University Press has just published a book by Serena Mayeri (Penn). Here is the publisher's description of Reasoning from Race Feminism, Law, and the Civil Rights Revolution:

I include Professor Mayeri's historical work in my course on Feminist Legal Theory. It is accessible, smart and well-written. I just ordered the book!
Intriguing. It's so hard to believe that women used to hear stuff like that, but then I wasn't born until the late 70s.
