Kudos to our friends at the University of St. Thomas School of Law (MN). Earlier this month the law school's Community Justice Project, partnering with a local chapter of the NAACP, was named the recipient of the 2010 Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter Partnership Award for Campus-Community Collaboration. The award includes a monetary prize of $10,000, in this instance presented by the Hon. Alan Page, a "Purple People Eater" (although I'm thinking his judicial robe is a different color). Pictured is St. Thomas law professor Nekima Levy-Pounds, who directs the Community Justice Project. The university's press release is here.
