You may have noticed that Utah's incumbent senator Bob Bennett failed to win the Republican Party's nomination over the weekend. He finished behind attorney Mike Lee and businessman Tim Bridgewater (who will vie for the party nomination in an upcoming primary).
Those of us outside the Beehive State may not know that Mike Lee is the son of Rex Lee, who served as President Ronald Reagan's first Solicitor General.
